Library patrons in Bellville will temporarily have to use a
different library following cable theft at Bellville Library. The closure took effect on Monday , and is scheduled to
reopen on Monday, 12 January.
‘’The building is without electricity supply – work is
under way to replace the cables and render the facility safe for use,’’ said
the City of Cape Town in a statement.
Patrons are requested to make use of libraries in the
surrounding areas, including Tygervalley, Brackenfell, Kraaifontein, Durbanville
and Parow.
